Franklin & Liam's News Report of the Week!

 News Report Week 7

By: Franklin & Liam

In math we are learning to multiply and divide fractions and plotting on a graph.

In english we finished are opinion essay and are starting a research paper. We are reading and learning about non-fiction in literature. We are about to have a test in science and have gotten the study guide. Australia, the pacific realm, and Antarctica is the main focus of social studies. We are saying the Lord’s Prayer in memory and learning about Elijah in religion. We are making an identity island in art.

A letter from Mrs. Steinbacher:

Bobcat Family,

Once again, I am amazed and humbled by the generosity of our Zion family. Together we have

raised over twenty-seven thousand dollars ($27K) for the American Heart Association through

our Kids Heart Challenge. Every dollar mattered as students turned in donations ranging from

three dollars ($3) to over two thousand dollars ($2K). Ninety-five percent of our K-8 th grade

students participated in this extraordinary effort. The money raised will fund lifesaving research

right here in Missouri.

Sixty-seven of our students and families completed “Finn’s Mission” and learned the lifesaving

skill of hands only CPR and the warning signs of Heart attacks and Strokes.

Bobcats, thanks from the bottom of my heart for using your blessings to bless others!

Mrs. Steinbacher
