This week we learned a Cell rap in science class. Also on Wednesday we had our advent service, everyone did so well. Miss Dubberke got more Christmas Decor for her classroom. On Friday we wrote to our pen pals. In literature we made posters using idioms. In english we made interjection posters on canva using song lyrics. In english we got to do an adventure worksheet. We also got to eat gummy bears Autumn brought from Switzerland. We did a cell scientist timeline in science. In math on friday we had a math test. In art we are finishing our big Christmas art project.
Reminders from Miss Dubberke:
Wow! What a wonderful Advent Service that our 5th and 6th graders did on Wednesday! I am so proud of them and all of the hard work they put into it. They put in weeks of work from singing, acting, working on stage setup, costumes, and more!
Thursday, Dec. 14 Junior High Christmas Art display in the church basement.
**This will be a time when parents, families and important people can walk through and see the 6th grade Christmas Canvas project, the 7th grade wreaths and the 8th grade Christmas Card Project. There will also be a video taken and sent if you cannot attend.
Friday, Dec. 15 Laclede Groves field trip (forms to come home Monday. Have drivers now - THANKS!)
